Casa Escalera

Enhancing home serenity with subtle landscape highlights

This lovely home in Puebla designed by Taller Rocha Carrillo was built in between gorgeous plants and made exclusively of concrete, glass, steel, and wood. Indirect and direct light are combined to generate a high visual comfort while keeping functionality.

The challenge was to generate a natural nighttime presence of the house but at the same time highlight some architectural and landscape elements. Without falling into theatrical lighting, the result is a subtle, contrasted scenography to enjoy at nigh.
