Atmosphere to emphasize the sensation of feeling free
Aria Libera is the light scenography created for the Living Vives installation by Iguzzini to present the Libera system at Fuorisalone ’23 at the Blindarte gallery in Milan. The values of Libera are based on the freedom to choose where we want to take the light. In search of perceptions that evoke a sense of freedom we find those that come from immaterial elements that do not require a form in themselves, such as air, light, shadow, movement, colour and sound, which together produce the atmosphere of Libera.
The dynamic light content seeks to create the sensation of freedom that we would experience when flying through clouds. A changing atmospheric landscape in which the subtle interplay of light and synchronized sound generate intangible forms of clouds and wind in constant movement and transformation.
By means of a self-generative programming, the light emitted by vertical lines of the latest generation of Iguzzini RGBW LEDs, which in their totality consume less than 1 Kw/h and are controlled pixel by pixel, form part of a double metallic mesh separated 50 centimeters from the gallery walls, constructing a new experiential skin. They will emit sequences of warm, neutral and cold colors that, bouncing off the gallery wall, will emerge through the skin generating a phenomenological effect accompanied by atmospheric music… a gift for the senses.
A space reminiscent of the sensation of freedom in which a composition of Libera luminaires will complete the scenography and respond to the passing of the clouds as part of the choreography of light and sound.
