Childhood Dreams Aglow in the Heart of Barcelona
In the heart of Barcelona, where the festive spirit ignites, the luminous enchantment of the Christmas season extends its embrace.
On Gran Via street, one of the city’s main thoroughfares, Artec Studio orchestrates a symphony of light, reflections, and color, inspired by the joyous symbols of children’s gifts and the revered Three Kings. Two monumental structures, resembling childhood puzzles brought to life—a square and a pentagon—stand as beacons of desires and happiness. With frames of steel, translucent metacrylic, and dichroic filters, they invite families and friends to pause, embrace, and interact, creating moments to be shared on social networks.
Rising approximately 2.90 meters in height and width, these luminous monuments, illuminated by white LEDs and reflecting daylight through dichroic films, become interactive spaces for capturing the magic of the season. Placed strategically at the crossroads, they create a visual spectacle for both pedestrians and cyclists.
As day turns to night, the classic lamp posts along the fair’s route transform into radiant pillars. Adorned with cascading chains of vibrant hues, they echo the festive spirit and guide the way for revelers.
The luminous ballet extends its performance also at the Sagrada Familia Christmas Fair, weaving a tale of light and joy. A celebration where dreams and laughter converge, painted on the canvas of Barcelona’s vibrant streets.
