A delicate reinterpretation of casinos lighting

The bespoke luminaires for this project were designed having in mind the intrinsic principle of the claimed illumination of a casino in a contemporary way. At the same time, they reinforce the character of the facade forming a coherent and indissoluble set with concrete architectural plans.

The integrated luminaires were made of translucent PMMA tubes and 5mm RGB LEDs. All together they work as a low-resolution pixel matrix, not only on the facade but also on the horizontal plane at the entrance of the Grand Casino. At dusk, they become a delicate focus of attraction thanks to the software-generated light dynamism of subtle effects of color and movement.
