Black square over light is a pause in space, a symbol of visual balance
Designed by Maurici Ginés for Vespre, is a lighting piece conceived for high visual comfort. A square defines its pure, orthogonal form, echoing the Bauhaus pursuit of clarity, essential geometry and the unity between function and form. Reduced to its minimum expression, the luminaire acts in silhouette, tensioned for balance while offering vertical flexibility.
Defined within the space both by its boundaries and its subtle identity, Even establishes a quiet presence. Its vertical configuration as a floor lamp with ceiling mount reinforces this tension, creating a precise line that connects floor and ceiling without adding visual weight.
Adjustable along the vertical axis, the luminaire emits indirect light toward surrounding surfaces, generating soft illumination adaptable to different uses, including reading. Geometry, balance and visual comfort converge in a minimal piece where form and function remain inseparable.
