We are delighted to announce that the panel of judges for the 40th Annual IALD Lighting Design Awards has chosen the lighting project for the New Perelada Winery, by Artec Studio, to be honored with an IALD Award of Excellence.

Artec Studio is the only Spanish studio to receive recognition in this year’s IALD Awards. The project was selected as an example of excellence in lighting design and for its contribution to the professional design community, amidst nearly 300 participating proposals.

The creative concept by Artec Studio of Grupo Perelada’s new winery is based on working with natural and artificial light with two intentions: one that reveals the architecture; and one that connects us with the essence of the place and transmits the storytelling of the wine. The new winery has been designed harmoniously with the surroundings and the lighting meets the same objective.

Artec Studio was committed to maintain the serene and sensitive approach of the architectural project, by RCR Arquitectes, and it is now a true legacy in the fields of wine, landscape, and culture in the Empordà region.
