Shadows protagonists at “Nit de l’Art”
A light installation that transformed an ordinary public square into a playground of light and shadows, in which childrens were the protagonists. The static shadow of the statute in the center of the square was projected onto a nearby building façade. When kids approached, their shadows, too, were projected onto the building, creating a constantly changing scenario.
Using an outdoor projector, spotlights, cardboard, and color filters, we were able to create a low-cost installation that greatly enlivened an otherwise-dull public space.
