Maurici Ginés is founder and creative director of Artec Studio, an international studio with 25 years of experience, dedicated to designing social and artistic expressions of light to create revealing and immersive experiences that infuse a positive impact on people. With offices in Barcelona, Mexico City, Madrid and New York; his work has been recognised with the Adi Fad Golden Delta, German Design Award, Grand Laus, as well as international and national Lighting Design awards such as IALD, LDA, LTI awards among others.
Maurici is a pioneer in his field, founder and first president of APDI Spain Association and invited professor by the UPC Barcelona to set the academic guidelines for its first postgraduate in lighting design, he is always in search of innovative creations that contribute to push forward the international discourse around designing with light. His designs are essential, functional and poetical. With a degree in Industrial Design and a Master’s in Architecture and Design, Víctor has brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role at Artec Studio. He has been an integral part of our team, working on the management, coordination, organization, and development of various lighting design projects, including light art and lighting products for special architectural lighting and new luminaires of different types for luminaire manufacturers.
Throughout his work and student life, Víctor has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the field of lighting design. We look forward to seeing the innovative solutions he will continue to develop for our clients.
Núria is a highly skilled lighting designer with more than 12 years of experience in the industry. Although trained as an interior designer, Nuria found her true calling in lighting design and has since been involved in many award-winning projects, including the Design HUB Barcelona and the Soulages Museum in France.
After a period of personal growth in Brazil, Nuria returned to her beloved hometown of Barcelona. Her passion for lighting and hardworking spirit inspire our team to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Born in Barcelona in 1977, Jose is an accomplished lighting designer, interior designer, and industrial designer with numerous recognized projects to his name. He has been serving as the Director of Artec Studio’s Mexico office for several years, overseeing operations in North and South America.
In addition to his work at Artec Studio, Jose also serves as the Academic Coordinator of the postgraduate design of lighting at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and Arquine. His extensive experience and expertise in the field of lighting design make him a valuable asset to our team, and we are proud to have him leading our operations in the Americas.
Cristina Escofet is an accomplished Mexican Industrial Designer and Lighting Designer currently serving as the Client Business Manager at Artec Studio, where she oversees lighting design projects in North and South America.
With an impressive portfolio that includes projects such as Hotel Café Royal in London, and Restaurante Prosecco Midtown in Guadalajara, México, she brings a wealth of experience to her role. Cristina also teaches Industrial Design at the Universidad Iberoamericana.
Dani Rosselló is an experienced Spanish architect with over 25 years of international experience. He has held leadership roles at renowned architectural firms including Enric Miralles-Benedetta Tagliabue Architects and Legorreta+Legorreta in Mexico.
His portfolio includes a range of award-winning projects such as the Zhang Da Qian Museum in China and a campus for the University of Vigo in Spain. Dani has also taught at prestigious universities such as Columbia University and Harvard GSD.
