Enhancing workspace comfort through thoughtful lighting

Maguen David WYI Center is a co-working space for young entrepreneurs. In accordance with the industrial look of the space, the lighting design is based on two typologies: functional for workspaces and decorative for meeting rooms and communal areas.

The lighting design highlights the architectural materials and provides the levels required by regulations for working areas. The main goal was the visual comfort for the users, therefore a lighting system with a low glare index was designed, creating light contrasts between different lighting levels depending on the use of the space.

The composition of luminances among led lines for architectural lighting, decorative lamps, and accent hanging luminaries in different colors provided a more creative and enjoyable work experience.
