Artec Studio has received a 2026 IALD Award of Merit at the 43rd Annual IALD International Lighting Design Awards, held in Frankfurt, for the lighting design of Four Seasons Tamarindo in Costa Alegre, Jalisco, Mexico.

Set on a hillside where the lush jungle meets the Pacific Ocean, the resort was designed to merge with its natural surroundings through sustainable materials and contemporary Mexican architecture. Artec Studio’s lighting concept follows this vision, ensuring that luminaires remain discreet during the day and are seamlessly integrated into architectural elements.
