On 16 June, Maurici GinĂ©s, founder and creative director of Artec Studio, travelled to Paris to collect the LIT Lighting Design Awards for the 2024 and 2025 editions. The ceremony coincided with the programme’s tenth anniversary, an annual gathering that brings together some of the most relevant names in international lighting design.
The recognition spans five projects across different territories of the studio’s practice: The Dark Line and W Budapest, awarded in 2024, alongside L’Illa Diagonal, Four Seasons Tamarindo and LOOM Azca, distinguished in 2025. Together they reflect the breadth with which Artec Studio approaches light, from hospitality spaces to commercial and cultural environments.
Beyond the award, this recognition is an opportunity to give thanks. To the clients who trust the process, to the teams who carry every project, and to a professional community that keeps pushing the discourse around designing with light. Thank you for being part of this journey, and for continuing to believe in light as a way to move people.
