Carillon

A playful choreography of light and shadows

Just like the carillon plays the bells, in this installation designed for Light+Building 2018, the light hits an opaque element on the wall which then project shadows. Synchronized music and a variety of light combinations create a beautiful immersive experience.

We used the smallest size of the Palco Family, a direct light luminaire for floodlighting designed by artec3 Studio. In addition, we incorporated a point-to-point control system through a DMX driver and lighting control in order to create a choreography of lights and shadows, reminding one of a music box. The light-art communicates the power of light and shadow, aiming to convey sensations to the audience through the creation of subtle and delicate content. Carillon was part of iGuzzini Light Experience, one oc the most visited attractions of the Light Fair, also produced by Artec.
